Lola Canale Designer Striated Service

Perfect items for summer, bridging the gap between vintage and modern.

They evoke vintage charm through their color and the opacity of the glass, while embodying modernity with their sleek form and the trendy striated texture that creates captivating interplays of light and shadow.

These creations draw inspiration from the warm, late summer sunsets in the south of France, during the cocktail hour or barbecue gatherings.

They were brought to life through 3D modeling, followed by Keyshot renderings that make them come to life.

Sketchs

Sketches on tablet and paper.

Layouts, viewpoints, perspectives, color combinations, dynamism, shadows and lights, and texture effects (e.g., transparency).

These drawings are often done in just a few minutes.

The primary mediums used on paper are Promarkers, Poscas, markers, and pencils.

EKOÏ glasses

The TWENTY are cycling glasses from the EKOÏ brand, an international cycling equipment brand.

Developed for EKOÏ's 20th anniversary, they were featured in the 2021 Tour de France and are now in production and available for purchase. My colleague, my internship supervisor, and I participated in their design process. We were responsible for 3D modeling, refining the details, and ensuring the ergonomic shape, using numerous 3D prints. We also conducted research on trends and competitor products.

Models

Wood, foamboard, cork, plaster, polyurethane foam, steel - these are materials I love to use depending on the projects.

"FAME"

Finalist in a design competition.

Project in partnership with Syctom, for an eco-design competition in the field of food waste in the restaurant industry.

"Fame is a serving utensil that allows both to avoid wasting the bottom of containers by serving from the back to the front, and to more accurately quantify the desired portion, avoiding any excess. With a new utensil that combines the capabilities of a shovel and a spatula, I wanted to address new anti-waste gestures. This solution could be considered for large companies, and why not imagine adapting it for individuals and our everyday lives."

"BAGO"

Project in the field of picnics.

How can we prolong our memories?

"Bago is a picnic bag that provides visual comfort in the evening. Don't leave because of a lack of light and enjoy your picnic for as long as possible! At the base of the bag, a module unfolds like a waterproof skirt, which not only protects the food from sand but also becomes a source of light. Additionally, it has the ability to keep crawling insects at a distance. These features allow you to continue the picnic beyond all these nighttime inconveniences."

"Gamme LINE"

Project in partnership with FORCLAZ from DECATHLON, in the field of trekking.

The objective was to reinvent the tarp (a lightweight and portable shelter composed of a taut fabric).

"The LINE range offers three objects to be used with a tarp, aimed at convincing newcomers to the world of trekking to experience nature without compromising on comfort. It consists of an extension that provides a sense of protection and security, a lamp for visual comfort, and rope storage solutions to keep belongings off the ground, enabling elevated dining, or drying wet clothes."
